How credits work
Top up in the Grid console
Buy credits in the Grid console; they reach your balance as soon as payment completes. Purchased credits never expire.
Earn credits with your GPU
Install OpenAlchemy Engine and share your idle GPU on Grid to earn credits for the jobs it serves. Spend them on API calls, or top up Charbit credits with them (the rate is set separately). Earned credits can't be cashed out.

Which tier is my model?
Every chat and vision model in the catalog is labeled small, medium or large. You can read the label from x_openalchemy.tier in the GET /v1/models response. The price depends only on the tier, so every model in the same tier costs the same.

FAQ
- Is there a subscription or monthly fee?
- No. You top up prepaid credits and only what you use is deducted. There is no minimum spend and no contract.
- Do credits expire?
- No. Purchased credits never expire.
- Can I get a refund?
- Purchases are not refunded except where the law requires. See the Notice under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act for details.
- Am I charged when a request fails?
- For video generation, credits are reserved when the job is submitted and released if the job fails or is cancelled, so failed shots are not charged.
- Do prices include tax?
- For the terms of sale, including tax, see the purchase screen and the Notice under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act.
- What can I do with credits I earn on Grid?
- Spend them on the OpenAlchemy API, or use them to top up Charbit credits; the rate and other conditions are set separately. Earned credits can't be cashed out. To start earning, download OpenAlchemy Engine.
- Can prices change?
- Prices may be revised. Each request is billed at the price in effect when it is processed. Items marked as beta pricing are the most likely to change.
